கோயில்கள் நிறைந்த மதுரை மாநகரில் எல்லோரும் தவறாமல் சென்று பார்க்கும்கோயில் மதுரை மீனாட்சி அம்மன் கோயில் , ஆனால் இக்கோயிலை தவிர மீனாட்சி அம்மன் கோயில் அருகிலேயே மற்றும் பெரியார் நகர பேருந்து நிலையம் அருகிலேயே மிக பழமையான மற்றும் பிரசித்திபெற்ற கோயில்கள் உள்ளன . இம்மையிலும் நன்மை தருவார் கோயில் , கூடல் அழகர் கோயில் மற்றும் மதனகோபாலஸ்வாமி கோயில் ஆகிய அற்புதமான கோயில்கள் மிக அருகருகே உள்ளன . இந்த பதிவில் நான் மதனகோபாலஸ்வாமி கோயிலை பற்றி பாப்போம் . மற்ற கோயில்களை நான் ஏற்கனவே பதிவிட்டுளேன் .
கோயில் அமைப்பு :
மதுரை மேலமாசி தெருவில் கோயிலின் நுழைவு வாயில் உள்ளது , அதை கடந்து உள்ளே சென்றால் ஐந்து நிலை ராஜகோபுரம் நம்மை வரவேற்கிறது . கோபுர தரிசனம் கண்டு நாம் உள்ளே நுழைந்தால் இடதுரத்தில் அரச மரத்தின் கீழ் விநாயகர் உள்ளார் அவரை வணங்கிவிட்டு நாம் முன் மண்டபத்தை நோக்கி செல்லலாம் . இக்கோயிலானது அர்த்தமண்டபம் ,மகாமண்டபம் மற்றும் முக்த மண்டபத்துடன் அமைந்துள்ளது .
முக்த மண்டபம் மிக அழகாக இருக்கிறது . மண்டபத்தில் சிம்ம முகம் மற்றும் யாழியுடன் நிறைய வேலைப்பாடுகளுடன் கூடிய தூண்கள் உள்ளன . மண்டபத்தின் மேல் பகுதியில் மதனகோபாலஸ்வாமி பாமா ருக்மணியுடன் உள்ள சுதை சிற்பம் உள்ளது .
மண்டபத்தின் இடது புறத்தில் யோகா நரசிம்மர் கூடிய சக்கரத்தாழ்வார் சன்னதி மற்றும் வலது புறத்தில் லட்சுமி நரசிம்மர் சன்னதி உள்ளது .சீதா ராமர் சன்னதி , பஞ்சமுக ஆஞ்சநேயர் மற்றும் சஞ்சீவி ஆஞ்சநேயர் சன்னதிகள் தனி தனியாக உள்ளது. இவர்களை வணங்கிவிட்டு நாம் முன் சென்றால் மகா மண்டபத்தை அடையலாம் , இவ் மண்டபத்தில் விஷ்ணுசேனா,வெண்ணை தாழி கிருஷ்ணன் மற்றும் நவநீத கிருஷ்ணர் சிலைகளை காணலாம் .
அர்த்தமண்டபத்தில் துவராகபாலகர்கள் உள்ளார்கள் . கருடமண்டபம் , பலிபீடம் மற்றும் கொடிமரத்தை நாம் தரிசிக்கலாம் . அப்படியே நாம் உள்ளே சென்றால் கருவறையில் உள்ள மதனகோப்ல கிருஷ்ணரை தரிசிக்கலாம் .
கிருஷ்ணர் அஷ்டங்க விமானத்தின் கீழ் இரண்டு கைகளில் புல்லாங்குழலை வைத்துக்கொண்டு இடது காலை ஊன்றி வலது காலை மாற்றி வைத்து கொண்டு பாமா ருக்மணியோடு விஸ்வரூப கிருஷ்ணராக நமக்கு காட்சி தருகிறார் .
கிருஷ்ணரின் தரிசனம் பெற்று நெஞ்சமெல்லாம் மகிழ்வோடும் மற்றும் நிறைவோடும் நாம் வெளியே வந்து வலம் வந்தால் மதுரவல்லி தாயார் மற்றும் ஆண்டாள் தாயார் சன்னதிகளை நாம் தரிசிக்கலாம் . வலம் வரும் போது கிருஷ்ணர் சன்னதியின் வெளிசுவற்றில் ராமாயண காட்சிகளை மிக நேர்த்தியாகவும் அழகாகவும் சுதை சிற்பங்களாக செதுக்கியுள்ளார்கள் . மிக அழகான தூண்கள் தனித்தனியாக வைத்துள்ளார்கள். பின் புறத்தில் கஜலக்ஷ்மி உள்ளார் .
தலவிருட்சத்தை நாம் தரிசனம் செய்யலாம் . மரத்தின் கீழ் விநாயகர் , சரஸ்வதி , ராம சித்தர் சிலைகள் உள்ளன . நவகிரக சன்னதி உள்ளது . ஹரி ஹர சர்ப்ப ராஜா சிலை உள்ளது . பெருமாள் கோயில்களில் நவகிரக சன்னதி இருக்காது ஆனால் மதுரை மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள கோயில்களில் பெரும்பாலும் நாம் காணலாம் .
தல வரலாறு :
சிவபெருமான் , மதுரையில் மீனாட்சியை திருமணம் புரிந்து சுந்தரபாண்டிய மன்னனாக ஆட்சி பொறுப்பு ஏற்கும் முன் சிவலிங்கத்தை வடித்து சிவபூஜை செய்கிறார் . அவ்வாறு அவர் சிவபூஜை செய்யும்போது தியானத்தில் மூழ்கி விடுகிறார் . இதனால் சிவனின் உடல் உஷ்ணமாகி அக்னி ஜுவாலையாக மாறி இந்த உலகை பாதிக்கிறது . இதனை கண்டு அஞ்சிய தேவர்கள் பிரம்மாவிடம் முறையிட்டனர் . அவர் தேவர்களுடன் சென்று மகாவிஷ்ணுவிடம் தெரிவித்தார்கள் . உலகை காக்கும் விஷ்ணு பகவான் அவர்களிடம் இதற்கு ஒரே வழி அவரை தியானத்தில் இருந்து எழுந்தால் மட்டுமே நிலைமை சீராகும் என்று கூறி , தானே புல்லாங்குழலை எடுத்து இசைக்க தொடங்கினார் . அவருடைய இசை ஈசனின் காதில் இன்பமாய் ஒலிக்க அவர் தியானம் கலைந்தார் , உலகும் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டது .
ஈசன் மிக்க மகிழ்ந்து விஷ்ணுவிடம் நீங்கள் மதனகோபாலனாக எனது அருகிலேயே இருந்து புல்லாங்குழல் வாசித்தால் தான் மகிழ்வேன் என்றார் , அதனை ஏற்ற விஷ்ணு பகவான் மதுரை மேலமாசி வீதியில் இம்மையிலும் நன்மை தருவார் சிவன் கோயிலின் அருகிலேயே மதனகோபாலஸ்வாமியாக அருள்புரிகிறார் .
பரிகாரம் :
இக்கோயிலில் சஷ்டியர்த்தி பூர்த்தி செய்தால் சந்ததி வளரும் என்று சொல்கிறார்கள் . இசையில் நாட்டம் உள்ளவர்கள் இக்கோயிலுக்கு சென்றால் இசை உலகில் சாதிக்கலாம் என்ற நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது .
இக்கோயிலானது பாண்டியர்கள் காலத்தில் கட்டப்பட்டு , நாயக்கர்காலத்தில் திருப்பணி செய்திருக்கலாம் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது .

மதுரை நகரின் பெரியார் பேருந்து நிலையம் மற்றும் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் இருந்தும் நடக்கும் தொலைவிலேயே உள்ளது . மீனாட்சி அம்மன் கோயிலில் இருந்தும் நடக்கும் தொலைவிலேயே உள்ளது .

English Summary
Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple is one of the most visited temples in Madurai city full of temples, but apart from this temple there are very old and famous temples near Meenakshi Amman Temple and near Periyar City Bus Stand. In this area also there are wonderful temples such as Goodal Dharwar Temple, Kudal Alaghar Temple and Madanagopalaswamy Temple very close to each other. In this post I will talk about Madanagopalaswamy Temple. I have already posted other temples.
Structure of the temple
There is an entrance to the temple on Madurai Melamasi Street, passing through which the five-tiered Rajagopuram greets us as we enter. If we enter after seeing the gopuram, we can go towards the front porch after worshipping Lord Ganesha under the royal tree on the left side. The temple consists of a mandapa, a mandapa and a porch.
Mukta Mandap is very beautiful. In the hall there are pillars with a lot of work with chimney face and jaaphi. In the upper part of the mandapa, there is a sculpture of Madanagopalaswamy with Bhama Rukmini.
On the left side of the hall is the Chakrathalwar shrine with Yoga Narasimha and on the right side is the Lakshmi Narasimha shrine. Sita Ram Temple, Panchmukha Anjaneyar and Sanjeevi Anjaneyar Temple are separate shrines. After worshipping them if we go ahead then we can reach the Maha Mandap, in this mandap the idols of Vishnu Sena, Vennai Thazhi Krishna and Navaneeth Krishna can be seen.
There are priests in the temple. We can visit the Garudamandapam, the altar and the flagstaff. Just like that if we go inside, we can see the Madanagopala Kr ̣ s ̣ n ̣ a in the sanctum sanctorum.
Under the Ashtanga Vimana, Lord Krishna is seen as Vishvarupa Krishna with Bama Rukmini, holding the flute in both hands and swinging his left leg to his right.
After having darshan of Lord Krishna and coming out with full joy and satisfaction, we can visit the shrines of Madhuravalli Mother and Andal Mother. On the outer wall of the Krishna temple while moving around the scenes of Ramayana have been carved very nicely and beautifully. The most beautiful pillars are kept separately. In the background is Gajalakshmi.
We can see the vision. Under the tree are the idols of Ganesha, Saraswati and Rama Siddhartha. There is a temple. There is a statue of Hari Hara Sarpa Raja. Perumal temples may not have a Navagraha shrine but we can often find one in the temples in Madurai districts.
The history:
Lord Shiva is worshipped by washing the Shivalinga before marrying Meenakshi in Madurai and taking over as the ruler of Sundarapandiya. Thus he gets immersed in meditation while performing Shiva puja. Due to this, Shiva’s body becomes hot and becomes a flame of fire and affects the world. Seeing this, the gods were afraid and appealed to Brahma. He went with the gods and told Mahavishnu. Lord Vishnu, the protector of the world, told them that the only way out of this situation would be if they woke him up from meditation and he himself picked up the flute and started playing. His music was pleasing to Eason’s ears, he meditated, and the world was saved.
Easan was very happy and told Vishnu that he would be happy if you play the flute from near me as Madanagopalan.
Solution:
It is said that if the Shasti vritti is fulfilled in the temple, the progeny will grow. There is a hope that those who are interested in music can achieve in the world of music if they visit this temple.
It is believed that this temple was built during the period of Pandyas.
